Interesting Inquiry.

In inquiry, we have been focusing on the power of taking action, we had to pick a topic to focus on eg: gender equality or pollution, I chose gender equality, then we learnt that we had to create a visual art piece representing our topic, the art style I chose was doodle art I can't show you the finshed product as I can't access it  but I promise I will upload it soon, I have really loved doodle art and will be making more in the future. thank you. Magical music reflection

On November the 2nd I will be sitting my grade one exam for keyboard and I have decided to reflect on how far I've come since last year, so far I have loved having my weekly lessons at school and I have learnt things such as timing, sharps, flats, naturals, ties, slurs, quavers and I'm going to stop now, I think that I need to improve on my timing when I'm playing, keyboard definitely requires a lot of resilience as you mess up a lot and you have no choice but to keep on, going. I'm looking forward to playing keyboard next year and sitting my exams, wish me luck.

Multiplication Mosaics

Multiplication Mosaics

For the past few weeks, my math group has been making these Multiplication Mosaics. It took a while but the finished product is amazing. We took inspiration from tiki drawing. Now come on a journey to find out how we made them.

First, we printed out an image:

Then we used old OHT paper to trace the image and write numbers in:

                                                       Next, we photocopied the OHT:

                                                               Then we coloured it in:

                                                        Here are some other photos:

How to order decimals like a pro

In math, we have been learning how to order and convert decimals. So we have had to create a presentation on how to either convert decimals or order decimals, as a way to teach others. I chose to order decimals. Did you learn something in this slide? Could I improve this slide in any way? If yes please tell me how in the comments. Thank you.

Kia ora, this is a story web on the story "wonder", for those of you who don't know what a story web is, it's basically a series of paragraphs telling you what happens in a story. Please enjoy this piece of work (sorry if its kind of blurry).

Ready. Set. Read!

Ah. A cottage, what could possibly be in there? Moas of course! Moas are extinct you say? not in this story! Now try and cross a girl who just loves pavlova with a cottage full of moas. Chaos. That's what you get. And, that's what this story is, Chaos.

Aroha and the three Moas is a funny book with lots of traditional kiwi items. I will be posting this story at some point in around 3 years. That's a joke. (or is it?)
Thank you.
