My super sestina

Angry parents running after screaming toddlers
Eating too much takeaway and junk food
My sister watching Harry Potter movies
Family bonding time in the car
 We visit my elderly Nana's house
This was not a good idea.


This is my sestina for NZ writing. We will be sending these to a school in Hamilton, we are looking forward to reading theirs. A Sestina is a poem with six lines and six words on each line. Have you ever written a sestina?

    Hey Zoe,
    What a great sestina, I am writing one too! Does Nana's count as two words because 's means is? Or is it still only one word?
